Palma Mallorca - Looking for nice hotel for adults

I wonder if you can help. You kind people have already helped me work out which country to go to. So my husband has found some flights and now we are looking for a nice hotel.
We will be flying into Palma Mallorca, happy for a short taxi/train ride.
After a nice hotel with a pool, any sea? Looking at about £100 per night, and want as nice a hotel as we can find. We are getting away from the children, so not looking for it to be geared towards them!
Any suggestions I would be most grateful.
Many thanks

Have a look at the Iberostar Royal Cristina in Playa de Palma.
It's a 5 minute drive from Palma Airport, and right on the seafront.
Our room had a panoramic view of the bay.
Food was superb throroughout.
There is a big outdoor swimming pool.
We hired a car for a week, but there is a bus-stop outside the hotel that goes into the centre of Palma. Buses are inexpensive.
Down point is that Playa de Palma is mainly geared for German tourists. But if you want to get away from Brits who populate Palma Nova and Magaluf then it's great.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and only being a few minutes away from the airport was a bonus.0 -
Or try hotels in Santa ponsa that is quite close to the airportMake £11,000 in 2011 challenge - £120/£11,0000
