My girlfriend and I can take a week's holiday, leaving any time between the 2 and 6 October...We're both adults.

We have no real preference for where we want to go, but as genuine Moneysavers, we don't really want our holiday to cost more than £250 each.

So, no matter if it's self-catering, all inclusive, half board or B&B - can anyone out there suggest a place and a holiday that we can go on?

The only stipulations are that it needs to be a quiet place, quite luxurious where we can relax and recharge our batteries - and we'll be departing from the north west of England (Liverpool or Manchester).

I'll leave it in your capable hands - and I'll let you know what we decide.

is that £250 each? if so try this...they will load it with tax and other various fees when you book but its still a good price for long haul hth...

What have you found doing your own research first? What sites have you looked at? How much are things costing?

I should point out that our budget is £250 each....

There seems to be plenty of places in Greece: (Crete and Kos especially), Turkey (but we don't really fancy it), as well as the usual Spanish destinations.

After looking at costings, we can get anything from £89 (a week's self-catering on the Costa Brava) or going up to the £250 (a week's AI in Greece)

However, it seems that the reviews that we've read of the hotels offered aren't very good at all - so do any Moneysavers out there know of a surefire winner?...
