    I bought Gordon Ramsay's book for £10 along with some paperbacks, I gave in the £5 off voucher and my 20% discount card and when I checked my receipt after the £5 had been added on and then deducted so no discount:mad: I trailed back in the rain to Smiths to query this and was told it was because I had used both together. Ended up returning my GR book. Beware!!!:(

    Just to let anyone who (like me) was thinking of getting one of these this weekend, The Great British Book of Baking is now priced at £16 and Kitchen is (I think, I didn't buy it) £18ish. If I was a cynic, I'd suggest they got wise to the vouchers being used and put their prices up.

    Thanks to the OP. Got Nigella today. Price had gone up to £18 but was still in the window for £13 so got it for £8 with the voucher.:beer:

    Nigella's Kitchen is £9.99 at some Sainsbury's.

    BTW it is a thick book in hardcover and wouldn't go through my letterbox if I'd bought it online for delivery.
