Nigella's new book for £8 in store WHSmith

I would love this book, but I can't seemto download the voucher - is anyone else having this trouble?

I have watched the programme on tv, I bake quite a lot and my kenwood chef broke a few weeks ago and after watching the recipe for the victoria sponge that Mary Berry suggested an 'all in one method' I am converted!!!!
It turned out great, just as good if not better than the creaming method and only took 5 mins.!!!

Thanks OP, got two copies in my local WHS too. Like others, the voucher didn't work properly, but the SA sorted it without complaint. One for me, one for my sister's birthday!

Thanks OP - printed fine for me. I'm not a great fan of Nigella, got her FEAST book but never used it. I'll buy the Great British book though! Excellent.

Do you have to print a voucher for every book you want or can you buy 2 of the same and the discount is taken off? Thanks .

i have feast too and have actually made suprisingly few things from it however i recommend the malteser cake which ds adores and i make every year for his birthday.

We have 2 WHSmiths locally and in one it had £6 off so £14 and in the other half price so £10. I bought the £10 one so got it for £5. Voucher scanned no problem. Forgot my bag so had to pay 1p for a carrier but such a saving I didn't mind

I never buy recipe books. Instead I use the Internet to get really good recipes. Examples are http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/, http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/, http://www.channel4.com/food/recipes/, etc. Just do a google search for a recipe and you will find it. If my family like the recipe, I just print if off for future reference.

Some of these sites list their user's favourite recipes. I have tried some of them and they are excellent.

It make more sense than paying money for a recipe book, which I will never do.

For info, Nigella Lawson has her own website at http://www.nigella.com/recipes. She also has recipes listed at http://www.channel4.com/food/recipes/chefs/nigella-lawson/ and http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/chefs/nigella_lawson . I have never cooked any of these recipes so I can't advise how good they are.

Thanks sirmarcus. I have had a look at the websites and they look really good. Also you can get loads of recipes from many famous cooks; including Nigella. As a consequence, I don't think that I will bother getting Nigella's cook book. Seems a wate of money to me; especially when you can probably get better recipes (and user rated ones) free off the web.

It might be worth mentioning that if you got the 20% card off books etc last week you can use that too. I ended up buying Stephen Fry's autobiography for £10 (down from £20), used the £5 off voucher, then the 20% card, so got it for £3. Going back in the week to stock up of xmas pressies for people, especially as the extra 20% off makes items a complete bargain!
