Proof of No Claims Discount

Hi guys, my first post here. i wanted to ask a couple of questions about my no claims discount as im a bit confused at the moment. last year i took out a policy from ibuyeco, but i cancelled it within a couple of days as i decided to save some money and sell my car. they sent me a confirmation that i had cancelled and also some proof of no claims discount. now i hadnt actually sent in my proof of no claims in the first place so now im left with 2 pieces of evidence for my no claims. One from each of my last 2 insurers. even though my ibuyeco policy only lasted 2 days. my question is which do i send to my next insurer, and also more importantly - i havn't used the NCD on any policy for a year, is there an expiration period i have to worry about? or can i stick with public transport and keep hold of it for a couple more years??
any help would be appreciated.

Your no claims bonus is valid for two years with most insurers. You should use the most recent ncd, however, in all honesty considering the time lapse I doubt it wil make much difference.I am an Insurance & Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
