Car Selling Success

We hear a lot of "doom and gloom" stories about eBay so I'm pleased to report something that's gone much better than expected.
Our car had started blowing a lot of smoke out the back and, as we were going to change it anyway, I listed it for a seven-day auction last Sunday when it was a free listing day. Don't worry - I described the fault and made it very clear that work was required.
Auction closed at 8:10 this evening for a price I was happy with and the winner (a mechanic who can fix it and sell on for a profit) has already been round, paid cash and driven the car away.
It's probably my best ever eBay selling experience and the fact it was for a "broken" car made it even sweeter. Faith restored for a bit

My hubby put a tshirt on and was waiting on baited breath to see how much it sold for (Think he was expecting millions - cost him £30!!!) anyway it went for £2.71 much to my amusement!!!

I once bought a none working car off ebay for £27, we needed body parts to fix my DD's car after a crash. The lights alone were £30 each at the scrapyard so it was a real bargain, even better it was in the next town so picking it up was a doddle. Always good to hear of people having a good experience with ebay.0
