Ive read on here a few stores are opening at 7am and I just contacted my local, Washington and they said 8am. Does anyone know if they are acctually opening earlier?0
-
lmao just rang them and rob who was very helpful said IF there is a sale in store it will defo be on line but he cant confirm the sale bless him then he asked if he could help with any thing els and i said no.Rob said happy shopping for tomorrow hope you get all that you order before it runs out of stock.lol
Again, all due respect to people posting info like this, but I wouldn't believe either way what employees are saying. They're no doubt telling you in good faith, but I doubt the majority actually know themselves!0 -
I remember a lot of very disappointed people on here last year when someone had been told specifically by a staff member it would definitely NOT be online and it was. There is nothing in particular i want this year so Im just going to the store about 9am tomorrow to try and get stocking fillers etc. Good luck everyone.0

Here's something to amuse while y'all wait.
My three year old loves his trains, so I managed to find a duplo train set at the carboot. A rather grubby train set. This was to be his xmas present. He found me this morning trying to secretly wash it in daddy's bath water (hopefully not as icky as it sounds :rotfl:). I want it I want it. No it's for christmas. It IS christmas! He wailed.
I left it to soak and he eventually stopped begging.
It was quiet... a bit too quiet.
I found the cheeky monkey in the cold bath, building an elaborate track around the rim of the bath.
At least he was naked apart from his vest...:wall:0 -
Why on earth are people obsessing with dummy runs and emptying and refilling then half checking out their baskets. Could this not be exacerbating the stock fluctuation?
Am I missing something here? All that matters surely is what your basket says and does gone midnight, or is it me?0 -

Certainly don't think it will be helping things...0 -
Do people really que for this sale? I know i read in the papers last year about people fighting over toys!
That was my store. Peope were fightingmy aunt to get the last lego set (Lego city) out of my trolly people were pushing, shoving opening boxes of toys before the staff could get them out of the crates.
I have just been to my store, they are putting loads more out. But not of everything. When I spoke to the guy, he said they are just getting crate loads of toys. Some stuff they don't normally stock and some things they normally shelve they haven't been given. He also said that buy the looks of it is like last year and ALL normal toys will be half price, but that EXCLUDES seasonal gifts. Including adult stocking fillers and the gardening presents, including kids stuff. He also thinks that the National geographic stuff is out of the sale, but he said not to keep him to that.
I asked him if it was opening earlier he said that he was starting the same time, but it would be recommended to come a bit earlier and wait. So that is what I am going to do. I have all my gloves, scarfs and everything out to camp out. i am going to leave my house at 5am, just in case it opens at six. It normally opens at seven.
I never asked if it was going to be online, as its something I don't do and I forgot to ask for you guys, but he said they were expecting loads of people, as it was the worst kept secret.
He also said that if it isnot there when you go, to come back as they will be constantly putting more out. They don't know what is in the warehouse as some of the boxes do not state too much information about the contents, but if you come a couple times during the sale you might be lucky.
As for me me. I think the buzz will go, as will the soldiers and mr potato head. I'm hoping I can get the Halo wars sets and some hearo factory. If I can get some star wars stuff that will be a bonus, but they normally have loads of sales throughout the Xmas season..
Good luck to all of you, and I hope you all get what you want. Unless you are going to my sotre and you pick up the last buzzlighter, then I WANT IT!!! :rotfl:1) TV 2)Laptop 3)Cash 4) Things for boys for Xmas 6)Holiday 7)Knitting bits
