sainsburys half price toy sale?when is it?

I spoke to one of Sainsburys staff today and she didn't seem to think they'd be having one this year as last year they got loads of stock in the weeks before but they've hardly had any stock this year

I did wonder if they had the 1/3 off sale last year aswell, and worried that maybe the 1/3 off replaced the half price one?

Re. the stock i don't know how in advance they normally get it in but there's another 4 weeks to go if it's same time as last year

Went into local sainsburys (huntingdon) yesterday and they were cramming the toy shelves far more than normal - 2 whole cages of toys to put out. Double the normal range imo ????
can anyone else confirm if any others are doing this too am wondering if they are going to start earlier this year ???

In my local sainsburys (east kilbride ) they did have a few half price toys - barbie, some boys toys, furreal pets etc...not much but few wee things to keep your eyes peeled for!

Can anyone remember whether Sainsburys advertised when the sale would start?

Last year we were all guessing whether it would be online or not but I remember we knew it was starting instore the next day. Was that with people ringing them or did they advertise it?

I know they sent round an email thing to those who are registered cause that's how I knew about it last year. This year if they have it I will be in the queue at 7am!

our one just cleared loads of old stock at 70%, now theres loads of new toys all out and re-arranged. shelves pretty stacked.
how long in advance did we know last time? isnt it normally only a week or two ? that would tie in with us not knowing yet!!
