I hope you manage to do this,but will just warn you that I tried this with 3 toys last year.

I bought them 2 days before the sale started last year as they only had 2 or 3 of each of these specific toys,and I didn't want to miss them as couldn't get in until 9:30 on the first day of the sale last year.

I did go in on the first sale morning and bought loads more,and (thought!!!) how pleased I was that I'd got those 3 in advance as there wasn't any left on the shelfs.

UNTIL I went to customer services to get my refund and then re-buy and they WOULDN'T let me.

Even spoke to the manager and no go! They gave loads of different reasons why I couldn't do this including they had to be sent back before they could be re-sold!! (didn't believe this one!)

Was in my local Sainsbury's today and they had loads of larger toys just within the doors, inc loads of Sylvanian Families Primrose Baby Windmill homes.

Instore Customer Services also confirmed the sale starts Thursday.

Just a quick question: has anyone seen the New Hasbro Star Wars AT-AT Walker at their local Sainsburys? I'm tempted to buy this piece online at Half-Price, but if anyone's seen it in-store, I'd much rather pick it up there and then.

Ive just got back from my nearest sainsburys (Wakefield ) there is very few toys on the shelfs and what there is are nearly all half price already anyway . So it looks like online for me .

Feel like I'm waiting for bad news. Isn't it bad wishing your life away ........ but roll on 24 hours!!!

If I get my little girls bike half price and my sons toy story stuff I'll be the first on here saying a BIG thanks to Sainsburys!!!

Bet I fall asleep on the sofa at ten to midnight....;)

hey guys
i was on here last year and got some brilliant bargains from this sale, even tho i only had a small baby at the time i managed to get her all her xmas presents, some things she needed anyway like playmat etc and her 1st birthday presents (wasnt until may so very forward buying but shes a baby its not like shes gonna change her mind about what she likes lol).
If i remember correctly lots of people didnt think it would be online therefore didnt stay up however i think the website crashed after something silly like 20minutes and was down for a few hours so this year if more people think its gonna be online then you prob only have a few mins - be prepared to be very very quick.
also the popular stuff like sylvanian families went within minutes!!! literally!! they also mucked up a few orders so i wouldnt promise anything to your kids until its in your hands!
also if u dont get what u want keep checking back again and again for days as lots of stuff miraculously came back into stock then disappeared after a few minutes - you have got to be very eagle eyed!!! lol!!
so......who is waiting up till midnight tonight just in case - i think im going to - i know im sad. its prob is thiursday again but u never know lol!!

Just had a look at that link but there is no mention of a sale at all. Someone asked about the sale and got a reply saying there was no sale. We all know this isn't true, there is a sale!

There are some people(not you but others) who will say there is no sale in the hope that people wont wait up for online or go to the stores early. These people think this gives them a greater chance of getting in there first if you know what I mean......this is a pointless strategy because most people that are aware of this sale who are after a bargain will wait up or get to the stores as early as possible.

And there are people who work for Sainsburys who aren't allowed to disclose this info so it's all usually kept hush hush.

I am confident there is a half price sale this Thursday, online and instore!
