Were they definitely the big Barbie wardrobe type things? If so I might have to give it a try!

i doubt it was the wardrobe one for 12.49 as cheapest I have seen was £40, lots of barbie sets around for that price, so reckon poster mistaken, if not... grab it!

Popped into Upton Wirral at lunchtime to return a track set and SV windmill (duplicate gifts covered via other family members!) and picked up a couple more bits. Got some handy many talking tools for £5 for my 2 year old, Ben 10 projector thing (£6.50) for my 4 year old, some strawberry shortcake sets for £5 to go with my nieces other present and a special forces plane on a gun type ejector to launch it for £5.
Noticed they had SV caravans & little sets of people too. All stuff that I did not see yesterday when I was in at 7am.

Like me, there were a few other people returning things and customer services had a couple of trolley piled with returns so well worth floating by CS if you are popping in and after something particular.

Have spent a total of £100 since the sale started. As I was only after stocking filler type stuff I think I have gone a bit mad!! But, that includes £25 on lego city bits to go away for my sons birthday and £25 on 7 party stash presents that should keep us going for a good while (I hate trying to find last minute good value presents and would be lost without my little stash! It saves me a fortune in the long run!!).

That what the Basingstoke branch got mixed up with. We need to do our food shopping tonight anyway so might as well do it there as anywhere.

I'm not getting my hopes up, honest!

i love MSE and saving money just as much as the next person, but i logged off yesterday in disappointment as for some reason i was singled out as being greedy and 'wanting things for nothing' because in the midst off all the conversations yesterday (and helping other MSE's) i agreed with a post that not everyone had been so lucky to get what they wanted and the only thing i wanted was some board games and unfortunatley i was unlucky...but ill keep looking :)

please don't be so hard on other Mse's for a simple comment about their own disappointment in not being so lucky among all the happy purchases.

Yes it is a fantastic sale and Yes people are getting some amazing bargains and i wish the other big stores would do the same, just goes to show how much profit there are in these items.

Just to let people know that if like myself and Ocallo you are wanting Board Games for your children and the shelves at your local Sainsburys are empty or if like me you live miles away from a big store Play.com currently have 25% off board games at the minute. You could also go through Topcashback or Quidco and you wouldn't be paying for delivery. I know its not as good a deal as the Sainsburys one but its still a deal nonetheless and might be of some use to someone who like me does not fancy a 2 hour trip on public transport to fight for something which might not even be there. Ocallo I hope this helps!!!
