I was so annoyed at lunchtime. I rang the Basingstoke stock to ask if they had any Glitterizer's or Gogo Walking Dog's. They said they did but wouldn't put one away for me. So I talked one of the girls I work with into giving me a lift over there. When we got there I was told they definitely hadn't had any Glitterizer's in and the space where Gogo had been sitting was empty.
Then I turned around and there was a trolley sitting there next to Customer Services with Gogo sitting there looking at me! I asked if the stuff was for sale but was told it was some woman's who had gone to use her phone. They checked on there system but there were no more in stuck. I was gutted! Then to make matter worse everytime I turned a corner there was the bl**dy woman with the s*dding dog yapping away at me. I was not amused!
I have now got one reserved at Argos and am going to pay the extra £15 as the stress isn't worth it and I'm probably going to end up spending at least that amount in petrol.
Ok rant over!
Well done if that was you with the last Gogo :T, by the way. I'm just jealous!0 -

Were they definitely the big Barbie wardrobe type things? If so I might have to give it a try!0 -
Did you happen to notice if they had the Vtech pop and play elephant?
No they didn't have any of those, they didn't really have much to be honest, I overheard one of the SA saying that they had nothing more to put out today, so if you are going to visit I would go tomorrow, as the shelves were looking quite bare. They did have some of the bigger items, loads of SV windmills, Mega bloks, keyboards, Illumination Stations, few Halo big boxes and Iron Man boxes. HTH0 -
loads of big stuff in bridgemead swindon. Fireman sam sets, sf windmill, gromiti thing, massive black and decker work bench etc. Also lots of things not seen mentioned on here for younger ones. V tech sit on rocker/pull along, v tech bouncing tiger i think, a couple of fisher price sets all in the forty fifty quid range half price. Didnt see any toy story or lego and ou a single thing suitable for a ten year old girl.0

Been to Middlesbrough store - not masses available but got a Yippity Jess (hurrah).
Mainly smaller items there and not much of it. Some larger Postman Pat items, Peppa Pig soft toys, a few SF bits (families, Sainsburys store and a nursery from memory).0 -
I was quite impressed with the amount of stock on the shelves at the Reading, Calcot store, and staff were constantly refilling too. Unfortunately not a lot of lego (did have some atlantis and halo stuff but I was after Duplo!), didnt see any Dr Who stuff but lots of disney princess, polly pocket type stuff, some big sylvanian family stuff, lots of Peppa keyboards (and phonics system and something else in a big box but no space ships), lots of postman pat stuff, bit of playdoh, loads of matchbox cars and other car stuff, iron man, buzz but no woody or jess, lots of that gormoti and bagu-whatever stuff, loads of vtech and little baby goodies. All in All it was definately worth the trip, this was at 10.30am this morning.
I got...
Disney CARS Mac with trailer (that you can put cars inside)
Disney CARS frightening mcqueen trickster car
Handy Manny singing tool box
Koto Dinosaur hatchling
Mini Thomas Aquadoodle
Tonka Vehicle (does tricks)
Disney Princess make your own tiara and wand
Matchbox crane thingy that does tricks and talks
3 Pack of diecast emergency vehicles
Could have spent A LOT MORE but tried to just fill the gaps in my present list for this year and for DS's birthday next year, kept thinking of all the gifts I've brought so far this year already for Xmas and how much COOLER the stuff on sale today was but never mind no point spending what I didnt need to!!0
