I only saw the Fur Real kitten, down to £25.
Did anyone see the Vtech pop and play elephant?? Its £25, they didnt have it in my local store (quite small) so dont know weather to go to a larger one or not.
I am so tired!! Stayed up till 12.30am to see if it went online, so then went at 8am, I picked a few puzzles up, but my sis got the Dr Who Darlek at £10. There was some really good toys, just a shame I didnt need any!!0 -
Hi hopeful,
We didn't find that out till very late last night to be fair and we all waited up to see if it went live at midnight like it did last night.
I was very disappointed as I only have a small local with not a very good range of toy's so yes I was one of the "annoyed" as you put it.
I have saved a set amount of money each week since the sale last year in preperation for the online sale this year.
By getting to shop online I was guarenteeing that all my Christmas present's would be sorted in one go for my children.
I like a lot of people on here do not have the money to buy these toy's full price.
it was on the sainsburys website yesterday afternoon that it was instore only and yes i too like a bargin where christmas is concerned and yes put money aside each month for it and yes may not have a job after christmas so dont want to rack up a credit card bill but all that was said on here was how unfair about the sale not being online or "the shop didnt have what i wanted". many people think they are the only ones who are in a certain position but they certainly are not. the difference is some of us are just grateful to get some toys at reduced prices (take the time to read the thread and my previous post and it will become crystal clear what i am getting at). i find it hard to believe anyone can get annoyed at a store for having a sale which they cant get to. IMHO:T0 -
Noticed the SF Primrose baby windmill was reduced to £19.99 from £39.99 online, now ofs, but in my local store it was reduced to £24.99 from £49.99. This was the only item instore I might have bought, just miffed at the slightly dearer than online price.
Was on Amazon just after midnight and managed to get quite a few bits such as Lego creator house, SF master bedroom set, armchair set, dalmation family, shoe shop & lego starwars luke's landspeeder all half price. Well done Amazon. :T2017 - no clutter to be seen challenge: 72/2017

I did Milton Keynes at 7am today! About 30 people waiting but the toy aisle was totally rammed, couldnt get down it as you cant get 3 trolleys across!!
Was quite dissapointed that none of my big bits besides the Peppa house were stocked!
Amyway, got tons of stocking fillers. Got two girls 3y and 15m so lots of dolls bits etc. Got dd1 Peppa house, hello kitty teaset, rosie dress up and loads bits. dd2 got waybuloo laptop, lau lau playset, hoover, guitar (although not the leapdrog one I was after)
I was after the bubble scooter and tomy melody maker too but no joy. Anyway, I think ive finished my shopping now so Im pleased!
Any other MK-ers get much?

Has anyone been to Crawley's West Green store? If so was it any good?
I went back into East Grinstead one earlier to do food shop & there were extra toys out then - lots of the massive RC Land Rovers, different Halo things, big Disney cuddly toys and a few Matchbox little cars. Only got a couple of the little cars for 59p each. Will look again in case they get different stock tomorrow!
I am really sad that it wasn't online, I don't drive and my mum is away so no one to look after the kids if I went to a bigger store on the bus. I know no one has a right to expect stuff half price, but this is the first year my kids have really asked for specific things (and actually wanted them for more than 5mins!!) and I'd just love to be able to get them what they want.
I have no idea how my parents used to do it, but even when we had no money when I was little, Christmas was never obviously affected by it (they kept it well hidden if it was) - I'd write a list for Father Christmas and ask for a couple of things and they would always be there on Christmas morning. I wasn't a spoilt brat or anything but it was always really magical! DH never really got what he asked for and he doesn't really understand why I'm so desperate to do it for our kids.
Kids grow up so quickly these days, I'm sure i'm not alone in wanting to keep them believing in Father Christmas as long as I canGrocery Challenge £5.43/£320.00
