My little man would love the fire dept set - will see if I can pick one up in store tomorrow.
  • To add insult to injury they just emptied my basket.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

Well thats me out of luck, for the kids. Seriously ill so cannot leave the house. Will have a terrible day tomorrow due to the lack of sleep. Even when hubby manages to get there, there won't be anything worth having. One large Sainsburys in my town. Large town as well. Very small toy section and nothing ever above the twenty pound mark. Another year of telling the kids that lego is too expensive. Poor show Sainsbury's, don't know how you dare advertise that you are going to save parents 18 million this Christmas. Unless you mean that the kids will only get half as much. Goodnight all. Hope all of you who have a decent sainsbury's get everything you want tomorrow.

There's not one Toy Story item, not one lego item and not one barbie item in the sale and thats just what I've looked at. Whoever is in charge of their sales is obviously not targeting what kids actually like these days.

Its saved me about £120 though Moneysaving at its best :money:
All the popular things are the ones that they don't need to reduce in price to sell. Unfortunately I was after Toy Story and lego too but will have to take my chances instore later tomorrow night when they are possibly restocking the shelves.
