Last year everything went 1/2 pice just after midnight - even the fur real dog!! Nothing in my basket this year! My kids are too old now I was buying for nephews, I am shattered - its not gonna happen.

I know its a huge let down, but I guess things are never ever gauranteed with sales etc. In a wierd way I am kind of thinking this has saved me money in the long run as I will now only get what is "really" needed rather than a whole load of extra stuff because it was "such a bargain".

I plan to pop to store to pick up a few stocking fillers. I think we will be more sensible in store when we actually pick up the stuff! Not to sound OTT but at the end of the day our kids often don't need half of the consumer crap that we feel the need to buy for them anyhow!!

As for the bigger toys..........Mr S is just going to have to put it in the January sales because WE ARENT BUYING IT!!! :rotfl:

Well, nothing that I wanted was reduced but thanks to whoever mentioned the Giant Mickey Mouse teddy - I hadn't originally seen that and Seem as i'm taking my DD to Disneyland Paris in December, i've probably saved myself a pretty penny as opposed to getting her something similar in one of the shops there!
