Maplin sell a convertor which will connect to your PC and display whatever's playing on the PC on your TV. You must have the movie within iTunes, so just play it back on the PC rather than the iTouch
  • Thanks Googler, its just that I get a perfect picture and sound via the iTouch, but if I play it through the PC from my library, the picture is stop and start and the sound is intermittent (its an older processor!).
I had read via the USA Apple site that there is a BELKIN connector that plugs the iTouch directly to the TV and it can be set to play via the PAL system for Europe, rather than the American system (NTSC or something!)..however I cannot see anything like that for the UK.

don't go on any mac/ipod sites and call it an itouch, it's an Ipod Touch..:rotfl:

I got one for Christmas last year, went on a site and called it my itouch. Jeez, anyone would have thought I had committed murder the way some posters responded.

I have been looking for the same thing, but seems that for every good review , an equal number are negative

One other option which is a tad more expensive is to get the new apple TV for £99 when it's released. It will stream your library from PC to the TV via HDMI (up to 720p) and seems to be relatively decent.
Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though
  • Buy a WD TV box - just plug in your iPod and it will play everything on your TV. If you buy the LIVE version, you can cannect via ethernet or wifi and play all content direct from your computer. They are fantastic!
