Sorry if I'm in the wrong section, but if you were in the UK and you had a UK bank account (LloydsTSB and Nationwide) and you also had a Spanish bank account and you wanted to send money to people in Spain that had Spanish bank accounts, how would you do it please ? It would be to 8 different people, (always to the same 8), maybe once or twice a month, amounts varying bewteen 50 to 500 euros.
Any help much appreciated.

One big transfer every month to get the best rate with a fx specialist from the UK to your Spanish account, further transfers from the Spanish a/c to send off the smaller payments.0

pop into your bank and ask the best way, not sure if you could set up a standing order?0

Thanks, but they're varying amounts and not always every monthkarenmay33 wrote: »pop into your bank and ask the best way, not sure if you could set up a standing order?0 -
Many thanks for that, this is the route that I'll probably go down.CountryGoose wrote: »One big transfer every month to get the best rate with a fx specialist from the UK to your Spanish account, further transfers from the Spanish a/c to send off the smaller payments.
Who are the cheapest fx specialists for these amounts please?0 -
Can you trust them? If so get a Halifax credit card, in your name and send it to one them to withdraw the money just before the end of each month. Then set up for the balance to be repaid in full from your bank account. We did this with a Nationwide flex account card but they start charging in November.0

A three years ago I used http://www.hifx.co.uk/ to move some USD to GBP. Their service was good and rates better than the banks for the transfer at the time.
They will do transfers at the current rate, or quote you for an ongoing contract, if you're looking for a fixed rate.0
