Stuck in Experian Credit Check Loop

I was recently asked to get a personal credit check done with Experian to support an application for some funding. PLEASE BE AWARE Credit Expert.com can be a living nightmare and Experian are probably the rudest least helpful business in the UK. If it's me then please let me know I'm wrong and I'll hold my hands up.
1. Applied online - paid my £2 clicked proceed - got message saying error
2. Message said send proof of ID
3. Sent recorded delivery
4. Phoned to chase receipt - told not to phone - but put through to one of a number of specially trained rude people that I would be forced to suffer over the next few days.
5. One of Experian rude team asked me questions - I failed the security test - BUT can't tell me what question - fair enough
6. Asked to email ref number and my details by the RUDE team - I did so - told it would be up to 5 days for a response and they couldn't tell me if they'd received documents - great!
7.Asked to speak to a manager - told they'll only tell you what I've told you - still insisted on speaking to
8. Cut off!!!!!
9. Phoned and asked for complaints department - had loads of hassle from a RUDE receptionist - given obscure non specific address to write to.
10. Got a call from RUDE manager - who asked me more security questions that I failed again - couldn't tell me in which area - but that one piece of info was wrong
11. Must have a spelling or number error on the original form - RUDE manager adopted the completely disinterested you're lucky I'm even talking to you approach -
MORAL Don't deal with Experian. Anyone else had any issues???? Check what you type really carefully.

I have always found them very helpful, friendly and efficient.

How can you fail your own security questions? They cannot tell you anymore than that or they would hardly be secure would they?

They've always been really helpful when I've had to phone them and the website is pretty intuative to use, as long as you know your own personal details!!! :A

i had an experian credit check at the bank, if you have a financial advisor go through it with you on their computer at the bank or even an independent financial advisor, it might be alot quicker and easier ?
