It was an intendant whole of market broker who looks at all mortgage offers. It doesn't matter i am sure everything is fine and the mortgage is a healthy competitive one. I am just jittery as its taking longer than i would have liked, but i hear that is common. Mortgage was agreed in principle and they have no reason to refuse it as i can easily prove my income etc which i have. I should have had the fee added onto the mortgage cost rather than pay it upfront.

Did you pay more than valuation + £99 booking fee ?

Did you process via broker or take advice from broker and then go direct ?
