Hello,
I'm after some reassurance! I'm wanting to book a really cheap getaway in October and so far the best prices i've found are on icelolly.
I'm looking at an all inclusive week in a 4* hotel in Portugal, Malta or Ibiza for less than £250! (That's flying from Bristol - could get cheaper from elsewhere but for convenience Bristol is much better).
Does anyone have experience with booking with icelolly? Is it ok? Am i worrying about nothing?
I'd hate to either lose the holiday due to a company going bust or to get there and it be horrible!!
Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated.
I need some sunshine!:j

No personal experience, sorry.
However they are the company that arrange all the prize holidays on Deal or No Deal, so I have heard of them.0 -
Icelollys 4 * are not 4* ,if you want to know the star of the hotel you need to search it.I have booked with them many times 4* (ie 3* ) and found them ok,went to Lanzarote through them just weeks ago.You get what you pay for .

I have used them successfully several times and so has a friend of mine. Had some fantastic holidays so long as you search the reviews like mad, as many of their holidays are 'you get what you pay for' but I have spent the time researching to find some gems.
Someone who posts on MMSE complains about them them and says to never use them but I don't know why - you would have to search the forum to find out.
Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone! I hate booking holidays at the best of times let alone through an internet company i know nothing about!!
We're looking at going around the 16/17 October for a week. We can be flexible by a couple of days but it does really need to be that week due to work commitments.. We're currently torn between Hotel Auramar in Albufeira, Portugal for £196pp and Hotel Tropic Garden, Santa Eulalia for £243pp and Club hotel Portinatx in Ibiza for £210pp - These flights don't include transfers (or any other hidden extras?). These are the kind of prices we're wanting to spend and it's mainly just we want a cheap get away in some sunshine after a really rubbish year - as long as it's clean, good location (we want to be within walking distance of shops and bars) and due to not being very good at travelling no more than an hour from the airport then that's are only realy criteria - easily pleased!!
I've never heard of travelrepublic, i'll take a look thank you.0
