Hi
I always chop and change my car insurance, home and bulding ins, phone, internet, car recovery, pet ins. The 2 things which ive not changed are my gas and elec. I'm abit concerned on doing this and don't want to make the wrong decision and be tied into a costly contract.
Ive used comparrison sites and seem all confused as they all say different suppliers are the best??????
Ive gone through my last 4 bills and added up the kws for the 4 bills (1year).
My gas who is with British gas and assume on the standard rate as never changed it.
is 12407.79kw
My electricity im with eon. i was on econ7 but this site and eon advised me that i was not benefiting by using this, so eon changed me to the standard.(didnt change my meter) ive also go through the last 4 bills and ive used 5153kw.
Also is better to go with one supplier or keep it as 2? are the contracts normally 1 year? how many change suppliers each year?
Is it a good idea to see if current providers can offer me a better deal?
Any help and advise would be very much appreciated.
thanks

Have a look at the various comparison sites to find the best deal for you. Look carefully at what tariff you are going to because there are so many different ones out there, some which suit some more than others.
Be prepared to be continually hassled by the companies you are leaving who will constantly try to sell you 'a better deal'.0 -
