Hi Monkeysaving, Its sad to say this but i have no idea, I just know that we go to word and that's it. Just asked a workmate what we use at work and she has no idea at all, she said window, which at least i knew that, so 2 sad cases. lol. demented20p savers club

I agree with albertross; try installing OpenOffice on your existing PC first of all.
If you do decide to get a new computer, I'd agree with the above comments about ensuring the software and operating system are genuine.
Reuse your existing monitor, keyboard and mouse to save some money and spend it on extra memory (you could really do with 512Mb of RAM for XP to run smoothly) and a bigger HD.
Make sure the computer comes with a warranty otherwise you could be in the same position you are now in six months time.0 -

Hi Nice Englishman I have just downloaded open office, i will now see what happens, I think i have done it correctly but if not i will uninstall with the watchful but not very patient son of mine overseeing.
