Used car - 2 owners in 12,000 miles?

  • Purely as an aside, in the past you would get things like 205 GTis, sierra xr4x4s with 30 odd owners on the log book. It was normally kids who kept the car for the duration of the 30 day cover note before accepting that they could never afford to actually insure it and passing it on to somebody similar.

TBH my 56 plate Astra had 2 owners at 29k miles when I bought it and 3 owners at 33k miles when I sold it 6 months later :rotfl:

    What was wrong with it?

Apart from the clutch judder (very common on 1.6 Twinport Astra Hs and Zafiras - test drive it cold!) - absolutely nothing.

I found it to be pretty damn uncomfortable on anything longer than popping to the shops though, so it had to go. Should've bought a higher spec model at the time.
