Ipod problems

I've just got myself an ipod nano and installed itunes on my PC. Somehow during this the Nano has decided to call itself the D Drive and my DVD burner/CD Rom drive has disappeared.

Any idea's on how to resolve this issue? I can't upload anything to my pod until i can sort this out :(

you need to go into administrative tools, through control panel, and open the computer management application.

in this application chose disk management.
you should now see your nano displayed, select and right click this and you can chage your drive letter.

    you may need to reboot.

try that and tell us how you get on.

have you opened the pc up at all or have you moved it and possibly dislodged some cables inside?

is this the software on the disk in the box or the new Itunes 7 from the web site ??

I had a similar thing with Intervideo software where if I tune in the TV channels it shuts down the sound on everything else....never got that sorted

It's the software that came on the CD Rom in the box - do you think installing I-Tunes off the website would be better?
