Audi A3 End of Lease Return

Audi A3 goes back on Monday, the inspection was signed-off with zero faults, pleased with that.
However, the bloke did note that my oil service was actioned by a non-franchised independent, albeit the service stamp has Audi written all over it and genuine parts were used.

Where do I stand on this when the inevitable letter arrives?

If it is a condition of your lease agreement to keep the car serviced by a Audi Franchised dealer then you will probably have to pay for an Audi Oil change.

If it simply says that you must keep it serviced in line with MFR's guidelines you should be ok, block exemption means MFR's cannot stipulate that you use their dealer network to have your car serviced.

There is a mention of franchised dealer use in the fair wear and tear guide which came througth the door about 1 week ago - fat lot of use that is when the car was serviced about 6 months ago.

This is my main gripe, the warning came too late.
