Parking Ticket..stupid, Should I just pay up??

I (stupidly) parked in a 30 minutes and what I read as if not return within 1 hour. I have a Penalty Charge Notice from Cornwall Council for £50.00, reduced to £25.00 if paid within 14 days.


I read it incorrectly and planning to ring and pay up, but has anybody got any good advice other than to just pay it?
Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY

    Post both sides of the PCN on Pepipoo http://forums.pepipoo.com and detail the circumstances. They're good at finding ways out of this on technicalities.
