Hi,
I've just put my very old dishwasher on (Mondia DW333E) to find it's not working properly so I wonder if anyone has any suggestions as to what might be wrong with it.
It's taking in water and drains so I know none of the pipes are blocked and the electrics are ok, but it get stuck on the actual "wash" part of the programme, i.e., when it gets to that bit of the programme it stops, the rotors don't go round and it's completely dead. If I manually move it to the next part of the programme it continues until the next "wash" bit then stops.
There's nothing obstructing the rotors.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
RoCas

try doing a search on google for your make of dishwasher, you might come across your problem. failing that it sounds like the programmer, but do a search

Thanks, Kat21, but I googled before posting here. The problem is that it's a very old Curry's own make - Mondia. I have a sneaky feeling it might be an Indesit with a Curry's badge but I'm not sure.
In any case, I expect all simple dishwashers work on the same premise so, like you, I expected googling the problem to help. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any helpful info.
Any techies about?
Thanks again.0 -
thermostat or heating element probably, it needs to heat before it can move through the programme and is waiting for a signal to say it has done so0
