Finding out who monitors car park

Hi all, just a query hope it's in the right place!
How do I find out who is resposible for my local Asda carpark?
There are signs about disabled parking, saying that failure to display a valid badge will result in a fine, then there's other signs saying failure to park within the designated bay will result in a fine. These signs are on a post and are white background with blue writing and edged in blue, and are round.
Yesterday there was a woman very upset to have got a ticket, and out of curiosity I looked for any other signeage as to who could have issued it, but I could find nothing other that the ones I described dotted about. I didn't get to look at the ticket, but heard someone say it was council owned, and I did see a chap in a brown uniform.
Any help would be appreciated, TIA C.C.L.

I thought they'd done a deal with Town and City Parking for parking on their private land.

    Cheers

I asked at customer services, and they said they didn't know?

I just looked at the website, and the attendand didn't have the uniform on that they show.
I have emailed Asda head office, but no reply as yet (if ever) thanks for the replies, C.C.L.

Because I shop there every week, and she's not the first one I've seen upset about a ticket. I wanted to give her some advice about the private parking but there were so many people around her I couldn't ask to look at the ticket, so if I knew if it was private or council I may be able to help some other poor soul who got a ticket, because as we know from on here there are lots of people who just pay up.

Ask to speak to the store manager. Surely s/he would know.

Also they usually say this car park is monitored by .......... Looking at TCP website they certainly mention ASDA as a client. I would also assume an ASDA car park to be private and not council.

Dangerous ground - our local Asda has a TRO on the disabled spaces so the Council can give tickets.

    Really? Scotland then?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
