okay wedding is on Sat and i am still in a dilemma as to what to put in the basket/hamper. Champagne will be on ice, crisps/chocs/couple of cupcakes (they are having these instead of cake) what else can i put in?? If at all possible would like to avoid a cool bag and have everything in the hamper and cellowrapped with a bow..
Other things for the table will be guest book, card from baby daughter which nursery is sorting for me, post box with all their cards, flowers brought up from the function room. I am going to ring hotel to see if i can somehow get a photo printed off...
Suggestions please!!!0 -
You really do have an awful lot already.
Please remember that they are going to be coming into their bridal suite, exhausted from all day, and possibly amorous... And I'm not sure how big the room will be but you're going to have
A huge basket
Flowers
Champagne bucket
Post box
Cake
And a huge mound of cellophane they're going to have to put somewhere.
Where are they going to put any of their stuff? That'll take a lot of surfaces. And it could be a mood killer??? In a room they're going to go to bed in at 1 o'clock in the morning and be chucked out of at 11am.
Having said all that I would quite like some water and painkillers if I'm feeling a teeny bit hungoverI love surprises!0 -
My OH will need chocolate for the next morning - in fact probably for when he gets into the room! I am hoping to order him a nice box of his favourite chocolates!0

the room is huge - it has a full size dining table with eight chairs!! sofas coffee table etc..
The basket won't be huge just really some picky stuff....
Can anyone recommend a funny wedding book with jokes in which i could get hold of relatively easily given the short timeframe i have left!0 -
my brother decorated our room with flower petals and balloons with the little lights inside, looked really good.0
