I don't know where to post this so thought I would post it here.
I bought some items last year bnpl which were over 104 weeks interest bearing terms. If you pay the cash price in full before the interest free period ends you don't pay interest.
I paid them all off in full last week but the interest is still showing charged on my account.
Has anyone here used this facility and can tell me what happens as its confusing the life out of me even after a few phone calls to kays lol

What exactly have kays said to you, it could just be a system delay and the interest will come of by your next statement but having never dealt with kays i wouldnt know.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

You have to allocate the funds onto the BNPL items.
So say you phoned up and paid £300 - which is the cash amount.
If you didn't say what the £300 was for then it wouldn't be allocated to your BNPL items. It would just go onto your account as a normal payment.
Phone them up and tell them you want to allocate the funds. Hopefully you're still within the allotted time as if the time passes after the 1 year, there isn't much that can be done.
But yes, it wouldn't show until your next statement anyhow.Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110 -
thanks both, yes I did say at the time it was for the bnpl items I was just wondering why the interest was still there. Will wait and see on my next statement. I think thats the trouble with having online accounts you can see everything all the time lolBABY SOPHIE BORN 14/08/08Cross Stitch Cafe member No:37

If you have the time left to wait for your next statement (ie the BNPL period hasn't expired yet and won't before the next statement) then there is no harm in waiting.
If however the time has lapsed or is about to lapse then you're better off phoning them up to confirm. I'd take an agent name too if I were you lol!Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110 -
thanks Charlie1978, I have called back and he said its definately been credited to my bnpl items so fingers crossed! I won't be doing it again though its far too stressful lol
ETA: I have an e-mail from kays confirming that its gone off the bnpl so hopefully if anything goes wrong I should be able to get it sorted quicklyBABY SOPHIE BORN 14/08/08Cross Stitch Cafe member No:37
