  • So after a miserable weekend with regards to debt i am feeling a little better today.
Another 2 payments to cards today so now under 13k :).
Also made a bit of a plan for the kids this week. Today dd went to her cousins and her brother came here so that was them busy today. Tom we at a party in the afternoon already got present. Wed we have friend and new baby coming over for lunch. Thurs hopefully swimming if i can scrabble enough pennies together and then Fri i have booked the cinema for a pound each. It also pay day so may treat kids to McD after.
This is helping to make the week more bearable with the kids. Had to pay for cinema on card but will pay it straight off on Friday.
Still no cash for girls night out Wed though which i am gutted about as been ages since i caught up with them all.
Anyways enough moping. Looking at my sig we are getting there albeit slwoly.

  • Oh and also moved one of the halifax cards to Barclays , 6.9% LOB as 0% was coming to end. So am now going to do my best to clear other Halifax card before its 0% runs out in May to save on a bt fee. Think i am going to have to get some ebaying done.

Well today hoping to get on top of my cleaning before taking kids to a party this aft. Will just finish my cofee before i start.
More bad news last night. Just did a tax credit calculation for April as they are reducing the cut off for help. Our credits will go from 250 pm to 35pm :( this is a real blow to us and not sure how we ae going to manage.
We are trying to see if me an dp can get additional work but there isn't much going. But we need to do something , have found a bar job near me so am going to ring them later , never done bar work before though.

  • Had good day today , was payday though ;)
Took kids to cinema this morning for the pound each viewing , was good and the kids really enjoyed it. Spent 4 pound on sweets and drinks at asda before we went in so under tenner for five of us :j
We then went to pizza hut for lunch as kids eat free so nice treat for me and dp and dinner came to twenty kid with a sneaky alcoholic drink each too.
Can't wait until we can treat ourselves to days out and not feel guilty though.
Paid off bit more than min on my halifax too.
However not going to be great month for debt busting as my car desperate for break pads doing so booked it in for Wed. At least it won't go on card and add to debt i guess.
Still stuffed from lunch (we got our moneys worth as had no tea) so enjoying a bottle of wine and some chocs.
Did big shop this aft so nice to have stocked cupboards. Shame as i have wished week away to pay day which means half term almost over and back to work / school.
