Bay Tree Question

Hi.

Bought a bay tree 2 years ago & it was about 1 ft tall & full of leaves & healthy.

Unfortunately I did not put it in the ground for ages & now its in the ground it is still 1 ft tall but only has the one leaf......

Any ideas on how I can revive it eg what I can feed it with?

    For edibles i tend to prefer to feed them with seaweedmaxicrop or vitax. Interestingly that choice is reflected here;

    Just dont overdo it, once every two weeks is fine in the summer. Back of watering in the winter and ensure drainage is good to avoid root rot.

    My baytree has always been in a container and has mostly done fine but I agree about the seaweed. We use the Maxicrop liquid in the brown bottle that you dilute so a bottle goes a long way. It seems to be able to revive even the most critical cases in my experience. Give it a try.

    I don't think fertiliser is going to help revive this bay though :D

    It's probably root bound, my best advice is to go and buy another. If this one survives, it survives, which it may, bay is extremely hardy and able to take knocks and come back. You'll find out next spring.

    They don't like being moved, and they don't like a windy position.

    Mine died when I moved it from a pot to the garden:(
