Capital One & Equifax

in Credit cards
Hi
Applied for a Capital One credit card and got my card about 2 weeks later.
Signed up for the 2 free Equifax credit reports and Identity watch.
Just got an email saying there has been a change to my credit file.
Just checked, and an old (Defaulted) account has just been deleted, I have been stressing about it for a little since seeing my report.
This was a good little perk for having a CapitalOne card.
Now, you CANNOT see an UPDATED credit file (You see that when you first apply and pay thereafter), just that it has changed.
But info of the change like NEW, DELETED or NEW CREDIT AGREEMENT.
Its one of the three but you don't know which one.
On mine I am guessing its DELETED as it's the only one it could be.
I have 1 more Updated Credit Report I can check so that will be my 2 used but will not do that for a while.
I find Equifax has more detail than Experian.
Equifax is better laid out by far.

You can see the change, just click on the + or the "Show Details" button, it will tell what actually changedEnjoy the silence...0 -
Thanks for your reply.
Just checked, and account was Added or Deleted.
Cheers for that.
To purchase Identity watch costs £2.99 per month.0 -
I have used this over the last few years. Like the 2 free reports a year and discounted on extra reports (£3.99 i think)
Not bad0
