I'm relatively new to the forum and I'd never thought of making a list of things to do for the day. Would have made the six week holiday much more useful to me. It's been interesting seeing your lists. A lot of my spending seems to happen when I'm bored or not focused on getting tasks done. So thankyou :) I may try and do a list now. So far I have just dropped my Ebay parcels off at the post office and had breakfast. That's it, what I waste of a morning. Need to get focused :)

My plans for this afternoon have all got wrong as I got a telephone call from the school to go and pick DS up as he had an accident. Poor little chap was sick all over his uniform :( so now he is up in bed watching his DVD.

Now that I've got DS settled in his bed I will rethink my plans for the second part of today. I will post a revised list shortly

    Morning all!

Thank for starting us off Cat. Was good to 'see' Milly back on the boards yesterday and Mogchops too:) hope all has been well whilst you've been away

    List for today:

Open freeze blackberries I picked yesterday, did suprising well considering recent weather, shame there would have been loads more but many damaged due to rain
[STRIKE]Tea from plan, should have had if last night but carried it over as DH had to unexpectedly work overnight so we needed something quick
    Washing on dry outside
Check banking  what is it about this month, a few of us seem to be on the same boat. At least we can paddle frantically together ;)
List some more items on eBay did 8 yesterday, I agree with Determined, it's so tedious![/STRIKE]
Friend going to have old spare bed so need to think about taking it down - will help in the great spare bedroom declutter:rotfl:

Think that's about it. Have a good day everyone :)

In addition to the above I have cancelled my boiler cover with e*n. Claimed they had already automatically renewed (despite the contract not been up for another 6 weeks) and that they had been trying to contact me for a YEAR to organise a service :rotfl: Considering they have been out 5 times in 5 weeks earlier this year to sort a problem, when they could have easily serviced it and I have not had any other contact from them - I don't think they tried very hard to contact me. :mad:I still owe one month, but, got them to give to give it me for free due to the hastle of having no hot water for 5 weeks with a 8 week old baby ;) Cancelled associated DD.

Have looked around for some cheaper cover, will do some more bits and then set up through quidco. Am also looking to change my energy supplier - I do get a bit nervous though thinking are they all as bad as each other - and despite me being fairly intelligent - all the tarrifs make it so complicated  Do want to save money though.

I have changed my user name with the help of the lovely MSE people as I thought an ex was capable of "watching" me and didn't like it so here I am under a new guise!
