:D When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :D

Hello all,

[STRIKE]Quick shower
Check bank
Email people back
Do comps before going out
Work for 4 hours - dreading it today :(
Go and visit my nan
Free lunch :)
Go and visit my mum
Talk to my mum about going on holiday with her - she needs a break
Do more comps
Vacuum downstairs again including kitchen
Tidy after cats and take rubbish out
clean car inside and out[/STRIKE]
Washing on and will hang to dry

Hope everyone has a good day!

YAY ITS FRIDAY! :T:T:T:T:T:T
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T

    • run dishwasher with cleaning fluid overnight on Economy 7
    • checked banking
    • checked for surveys
    • fed and watered the chickens and asked for at least three eggs today (customers are waiting!)

    I will also:
    • read my book instead of hitting the shops at lunch time
    • charge mobile at work ready for the weekend
    • make damson jam this evenng (was too tired yesterday)
    • have an NSD
Tomorrow I will go back to the hospital to see if my bank contract is still open and ask if there is any weekend work available. It'll be back to working 7 days a week again, but until DH is well enough to work I can't see any other option. :(

    Have a good day everyone.

It's okay really. I did 7 days a week for 5 years when DH and I were separated. It's going to be hard going back after a year off, but I've only got 12 months left on my loan so there is light at the end of the tunnel! :)
