Clinique gentle light make up being discontinued?

Hi, yes a Clinique assistant told me the same thing, to mix the perfectly real make up with the illuminator, trouble is with that you are paying for two products.
I can't understand why they discontinued gentle light because its not selling in America, what about what we like in the UK aswell? It really irritates me when they do this. What can we rely on not to be discontinued? It makes you feel you can't get used to anything.
Anyway, rant overYes do let me know what the supermoisture is like, I have thought of buying that and then the almost make up but I don't want to make an expensive mistake. I could go back to No7 but its only their tinted moisturiser that is reliable not to be changed, the foundations have all changed. Maybe tinted moisturiser is the way to go?

I've tried loads of alternatives and can't find one i like. Really hoping i like the supermoisture as this could turn into an expensive hunt!
Hi, have you tried the supermoisture make up, how do you find it?0 -

Hmmm, its not bad, but its not gentle light:( Its better than the others i have tried, but just not quite what i want. I'll use it as obviously i wouldn't want to waste it. But my hunt is not over for a replacement.
Apparently Dior do a nice one and Armani too, so they will be my next port of call i think when i'm finished my current stock. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Hi, sorry its not what you want. I may go for the almost make up as I have had that before and its not bad. I've got my No7 tinted moisturiser on today which is fine but I still like my Clinique as it gives a more polished look somehow.0

Extremely annoyed this has been taken off shelves again - there's nothing like it. Supermoisture is not supermoisturising and doesn't reflect light in the same way as Gentle Light. It's a matt finish with a few sparkles thrown in. I've moved to Chantecaille's Future Skin which unfortunately doesn't really reflect light either and is not right for me, although it could be good on somebody with better skin. Expensive though. The search continues! Keep updating with any good discoveries, thanks.0

Yes it is very annoying when good things get discontinued. I have gone back to Boots No7, I am using their tinted moisturiser and have got a sample of their Essentially Natural Mineral foundation which has a glow to it. At least No7 do give out samples to try before you buy the whole bottle. I have got some Clinique Almost make up too but I am still making my mind up about, its nice but not as glowing as gentle light.0

Sorry, I didn't realise you couldn't. I was just trying to be helpful!0
