Haven holidays booking advice please

Hi, was wondering if anyone had an idea about the best time to book a Haven holiday for the October break? I'm hanging off incase it gets cheaper but am worried we'll miss out! Haven't had a holiday this year and this is the last chance I'll get but don't want to get stung if the price goes down the day after I book it!! Please help - any ideas would be great x

you could try holding out and checking the website just before you go, they sell off vacant caravan slots at the last minute. Obviously you need to be flexible about where you want to go, my friend does this nearly every month and gets a long weekend for just a few pounds. Ive not done this as I tend to book in January to get 50% off, just had a week in Devon in a top of the range caravan for £580 for the week.
    Hope you get your break!:)
  • if you go to the breakfree holidays site and search on this site for daily mail codes there are still holidays available at £10 a night

Try booking direct with owners at the Haven park(s) you want t go to
eg: http://www.directholidayhomes.co.uk normally works out much cheaper than booking with Haven

Have a look at the thread on Page 2 called:

"Those instantly bookable £9.50 or thereabouts holidays".
  • That was my thread and am pleased to say I got exactly what I wanted for 1/4 price of what Haven wanted through the Haven direct site
My friend wanted a different date and had to try the breakfree and then the sun site to get the one she wanted but found it
Good luck and have a nice holiday
Mad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!
  • Thanks everyone! Going now to try my luck. Let you know how I get on xx
  • Try the sun newspaper holiday thread on this here, don't need the tokens!! had some haven camps in oct half term earlier tonight, Good luck
