Protaras,Cyprus

Hi all,

I have been looking into going on holiday here and was wondering if anyone knew of any 2 bed apartments as close to the centre as possible or 1 bed apts that would have a metal action sprung sofa bed.
I have checked every where,to no avail, can anyone help?

Many thanks

LM

Why do you need that type of sofa bed?

  • Hi

Well, all the apartments i have enquired about only provide tourist/camp beds and they are not suitable for my teenage daughter. We had one in an apt a few years back and it was horrendous.
You would think being a travel agent i would know where to look lol,but i have not had a lot of experience with Cyprus.

Not sure your experience is the norm here, I can't comment on Cyprus but My Daughter is now seven and for the last five years wherever we have stayed she has always had an adult single bed. I'm guessing the hotel was trying to cram an extra person into a room designed for less people.

  • Hi all thanks for your replies.

sunnygirls,i cannot find these 2 bed apts anywhere,do you know which company deals with these?

I have found the Soustis apts in Pernera but not sure if they are within walking distance to Protaras.

I've heard this from other people too.

We went back to Cyprus this year but found that the prices quite reasonable. Certainly not the huge post euro hike we had been lead to believe.

All inclusive can be good value but it ties you to eating in the same place all the time.

OP Have you been to Protaras before? It's not everyone's cup of tea.
  • Hi all
I have looked into the lantiano apartments, cannot find any mention of a 2 bed apt there.
    Gloomendoom,
I have never been to Cyprus before, always wanted to try it,my brother and his wife have been 5 times and thoroughly recommend it.
I have found the Andreotis apts but no availability for a 2 bed. Then there is the Soustis apts, which i am considering at the mo,they are in Pernera but the owner assures me it's only 15 minute walk into Protaras.Just not sure about walking the coastal path late at night/early hours.
    Thanks all
