I'm assuming though, that if the CWI does appear to cause problems later on, that I could have it removed. I will be having a survey and so this should pick up any signs of existing damp in the property.0

removing it is apparently very costly.
If as some suggest dampness is caused by condensation, ie humidity in the air which cannot escape, then increased ventilation in the form of trickle vents on each window and double glazed door might be the answer.Argentine by birth,English by nature0
