I agree with most peoples comments, we will only buy a house with a garage, or room for a garage at least if the price is right.
I wouldn't want to have to go through the logistics of converting a reception room back to a garage unless it was a very special house.

We thought that most people use their garages to store junk and rubbish, which is what we did.
Also a garage isnt big enough to store a big car.
We will convert it into a study/den for hubby and the utility room will be extended which can only be a bonus. We dont have a seperate dining room and our lounge isnt very big, also it will mean that upstairs we will have 3 bedrooms not 2 + a study.Just owe Dad £2500 for a new car

I must be different because I use my garage to errrmm park my car in. I can fit my people carrier in it quite easily and it leaves a enough room at the front for the tumble dryer and a workbench.0
