Ta for the tip...might nip a few off tommorow!
  • Mine don't turn as quick as 24hours but I have been picking the ones that are between orange and green coz they all seem to be spliiting this year.

The ones that I have picked and put in the window seem to turn out ok though!

Right ive found cut the top off of the plant, this helps. Also pick off green ones and add to your fruit bowl with bananas, they let off gas that ripens the other toms.
    Kind Regards

  • Last year I put some green toms in a box with a banana in the airing cupboard. It took less than a day before I could not stand the smell of banana and the thought the toms would also taste of banana too
I put the toms back in the box and they ripened lovely without the banana. I will be doing the same this year sometime soon.
