Why aren't you claiming ESA if you are unable to work?
Or JSA if not eligible for ESA?
You won't have your contributions covered if you are living off you parents, apart from anything else.
For someone who normally displays knowledge of the benefit system, you seem quite ignorant on this thread....?
You seem to be slowly reverting to 'Titch', in fact. I've noticed on a few threads of late. :cool:0 -
It is recommended that as a disabled student, I must do 16-20 hours per week study. You can't claim benefits if working or studying for 16 hours per week. It also says that you must be prepared to give up your course if a job comes along.
I was also told by someone that working full-time (which would be expected of someone who is on JSA) and studying part-time wouldn't always be possible - especially with a disability like mine.
can you just update us on all your disabilities as they seem to have increased in the last year from simply your eyesight problem and perhaps that would help everyone to help you?0 -
But isn't 16-20 hours a week classed as full-time?
