Hi,
I am going from London to Totnes in Dartmouth the 2nd weekend in october, does anyone have / know of any codes / promotions / vouchers / rail card deals to reduce the fare please.
The best i can come up with is to buy single fares each way, that would be £50 but would like to reduce that if possible.
Please help.....
thx

I presume you're intending to get the train to Totnes and then bus or taxi to Datrmouth?
It probably won't save you money (in fact it will probably cost more) but you could get a First Great Western train to Paignton then a steam train to Kingswear and cross the river to Dartmouth by ferry. I can thoroughly recommend this if you like good scenery and/or heritage transport!
The Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway station is adjacent to the main station in Paignton.0 -
A nice Englishman's option sounds good but the cheapest option is using SWT from Waterloo at £21:70 return, downside is the journey takes almost 5 hours. Next best is £38, 2 X £19 singles from Paddington, under 3 hours this way. Railcard discounts may apply if you have one.
Both of these fares have to be booked in advance and are non-flexible, which means you must travel on the train you select when you choose the ticket.0
