Hi guysss,
:j wohoooo!! new to MSE.......
basically i bought a refurbished laptop from Dixons and purchased the whatever happens policy along with it at the same.....a year after the laptop has a blue screen of death... i have read the leaflet that came with the insurance policy and it says:
REPLACEMENT PRODUCT
If we fail to repair your product within 10 days for Premier Club
and 28 days for Club, you may request a replacement product.
The replacement will usually be in the form of vouchers to
purchase a product of equivalent specification. Occasionally
you may receive a fully reconditioned product.

If you have originally purchased a product labelled as
‘previously owned’ or ‘non-pristine’ our 10 day and 28 day
promises do not apply and you will receive vouchers to the
value of the original price paid.
So will my laptop not be repaired and i will receive vouchers instead?? .... i have called them about this but they seem unsure.
TIA

probably try to repair it but there is no time limit - if they can't or it will cost them more they will send vouchers. Either way it seems like it will get sorted, just might take a bit longer than 28 days?0

Might help if you post in 'Techie Stuff' what the blue screen of death is saying.
It could just be the laptop overheating, which is something you can sort out yourself.Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those affected (Benjamin Franklin) JFT96...YNWA0
