Our house phone is dreadful, though I've been meaning to get a new set for ages, I haven't got round to it. This posting was just the push I needed - I reserved and picked one up at our local store. One the way home I popped in to see family and proudly showed off my new purchase - and was sent home to reserve two more for them too!!

They're all installed now and seem to be working just fine. Thanks for this OP and supermole.

Did you get the Magicbox one? I got a Binatone Veva 1200? Dont know if this is any good as I have never had a phone before but am having a line installed tomorrow so needed 1 sharpish! Thanks Supermole

Reserved the phone last night, and picked it up from the Beeston branch at lunchtime, had the choice of three diferent phones, the 2-phone Binatone (the one that is actually sold under that cat code), a 3-phone Binatone kit, and the 3-phone Magicbox set..... so I chose the Magicbox set, thanks Supermole

I've got the grille on reserve to, going to pick it up after work (thought it would be cheeky getting both at the same time!!!!)
