slow pc!

hello all! need some with pc i downloaded hitman pro which was on this forum a few weeks ago ran all the scans which there was a lot for stuff on my pc so i fix the problems not thinking to check if anyone had used this programme b4, now my pc seems slow and internet is slow,i sometime see that red x when viewing some web pages some pop ups i've uninstalled hitman and ran my spybot,ad-aware windows defender ewido but just found the normal cookies thinking this has changed some of my setting? or is this just me being thick:o

    i find running a defrag every so often speeds my pc up as it tidies everything up.if you have downloaded something then uninstalled it defragging might be worth a go
    proper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance! :p

    can someone help my intrenet setting?as the above must of changed my setting can't see pictures when i open my mail!

    are you using outlook with word as your viewer, or outlook express, or webmail?

    Have you ticked "show image placeholders" in tools internet options advanced?

    Can you see images on webpages, but not in btopenworlds webmail?
