Some plonker will buy it.
And then rent it to an even bigger plonker to pay their mortgage for them.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

That's a bit nasty Hamish, considering you allegedly rent a place you never paid for to a member of your own family?0

Both in the same street, with almost identical spec. One realistic seller and one completely out of touch with reality!
I wonder which one will sell first?

The second place has laminate flooring. No magnolia paint so the seller has definitely missed a trick. They'd get an extra £5k with magnolia paint.0 -

The one with the under productive vegetable garden. A rhubarb bush adds tens of thousands onto a property, don't you know?0 -
Barry's very grey isn't it? There's lovely!0

What I found funny was not so much the price, but the fact that the house has been on the market for 18 months and hasn't sold so the vendor puts the price up by £1000

I've been to Barry. It's quite OK for an afternoon stroll and bag of chips on a good day. It does have a train station and easy access to transport and jobs. One could do a lot worse.0
