Wireless audio

Does anyone have experience of any audio systems or adaptors that can connect to a wireless network. I'd like to be able to stream audio from my laptop to the stereo.
Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc

  • Slimdevices have a product called a Squeezebox that can be hooked up by either ethernet or wireless and can access your mp3 collection on a pc/laptop or stream internet feeds.

If you leave the PC/laptop on and go out then you can also link via a software player (SoftSqueeze) into your own music collection from anywhere on the internet.

There are many plugins for this that allow you to access stuff like the BBC radio streams and download on demand stuff.

Phillips also do a wireless stereo system. The Base unit has a hard drive to store your mp3s on (not sure if it can access external sources). And you can get a satellite (as in remote not space) unit that accesses the base unit.
