Car insurance Young Driver

Hello There,
I have recently Purchased a BMW X5 3.0D Sport (04) of a family member for a very reasonable price... So I thought Bargain, could never usually afford a lovely car like this, my luck is in!
However, now I have come to check insurance quotes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was thinking even thought I am only 22 with these details:
1. license 5 years
2. 4 Years no claims discount
3. no accidents
4. no points
5. Garaged at night
6. SDP only
7. Under 8000 miles a year
8. Living in a better than average part of Manchester
that I would at max with a group 17 insurance Car be paying around £1300/£1500 insurance!
The cheapest, and i have used loads of comparison sites is £2770 from Admiral...
If I was buying a Honda Civic or a pimped up Fiesta I can understand Insurance companies thinking that this guy is a boy racer and more than likely going to plow into a lampost...but, this an estate, diesel, family car!
So... can anyone help me in finding any cheaper insurance companies for young drivers? preferably a insurance company that doesn't stereotype or generalise my circumstances :A maybe if they give me a general knowledge quiz or similar...
HELP!!

Is this a joke? 22 and an X5 in manchester? just over £2k sounds brilliant in a market where motor premiums have gone up circa 20% this year, and more for younger drivers and even more for areas where there are higher instances of fraudulent claims (of which Manchester is a biggie).
Try one of the tracker companies - Coverbox, Insurethebox etc0 -

Not a joke at all and its more towards £3k than £2k!
Got quotes on both sites and there quoting 5 and 6k

£2770 is cheap. I wouldn't touch it at £5000.0

Have read through everything
Will it not invalidate my insurance if I ever come to make a claim?0 -
Insurance is a contract between insurer and insured. You disclose all material facts to insurers and they make an offer of terms to you for consideration (the premium). Providing you have disclosed all material facts and have not "been economical with the truth" there is no reason why they should cancel the cover. In the event that their underwriting criteria changes they could decide not to renew.
Difficulties could arise if you have not made full disclosure in asking for terms - make sure you go through the application and answer all questions fully and honestly.
Have you actually already checked what you completed - are the terms this low because, you have for instance, a £5k excess (which you have overlooked)?
Personally I would enter all of the details again ensuring 100% accuracy and see what you come up with.0
