Holiday win fiasco

I posted up I'd won a holiday to France but couldn't find the poster. Well after a week of Emails and phonecalls, they changed the details of the holiday 3 times
1st details were - 1 night, 2 days, all meals, visits to 2 vineyards and wine cellar with 6 bottles of wine, and ferry crossing

2nd details were - 2 nights (different hotels-30 miles from each other), no meals, no vineyard visits or wine but with car hire for 2 days.

Yesterday they called to say that there was in fact no car hire and I had to book and take it before 31st October:eek:

I was so excited to have won my first holiday, all my excitement vanished with the changes. Today I've settled on a £50 cheque to buy wine, so going to drown my sorrows:beer:

Just wanted to have a quick moan then dust myself off and get back to comping:o

  • It's a wonder why some company's run competitions if they aren't going to follow it through. I'm sure you'll enjoy drowning your sorrows though

I feel your pain - I had a good prizes go bad, its hard as it plays on your mind. As you say pick yourself up and carry on comping. Im still waiting for my Spa day/weekend keep hoping (even better would be a family holiday, but any break will do)
