Kids Party Bags - Ideas please..

My daughter's birthday is in the Summer so each year we have her party outside and the finale is a trasure hunt around the garden to collect bits for the kids party bags. I gather the children all together and give them a bag each - a parent sits at various points aroudn the garden with bag full of goodies and the kids take one each and run to the next port of call.
The children love it and end up sitting on the lawn eating their cakes and chocolates and rummaging thorugh their presents etc.
This year I went to Au Naturale and they had some really great books at £2.50 for 5. I also included:-
a bouncy ball
bracelets (£1 for 5) from Au Naturale
£1 book token
paper areoplanes that my Dad had made!
other stops were for foodie items i.e. chocolates, sweets and fruit.
I tire the kids out and the parents like that! It normally takes about 30 minutes and I do nto ahve the hassle of making sure the bags are made the night before and also if unexpected vistors turn up you know you have a bag available!
Have fun!

some fab ideas of contents will borrow them (like the seeds)..
and sorry if this sounds bit obvious but someone told me about it & I hadn't thought of it!
if you have random pieces of wrapping paper (or is that just me?) and you wanted to make your own bags rather than buying lots...simply find quite a thick book (I use dictionary) and wrap it up, just leaving one end open. If you're feeling posh, put some ribbon on for handles otherwise just fold over to stop contents falling out.0 -

Might be this site you were thinking of? It is really cool but couldn't see anything suitable for party bags really unless money's no object.

They had some recycled note pads reduced in WHSmiths at the weekend.
Edited because I found a cool link.

My sons' party is this weekend. We bought some colourful reusable mini crates to put the party favours in. I have put some marbles in, some homemade playdough a mini homemade bathbomb and a mini box of yoghurt coated raisins.
Last year they had a rock climbing party so we backed some rock cakes, wrapped them in brown paper and tied them to a balloon.Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -

That's the one! I don't think that they sell direct but I think that they have a list of suppliers on the website. The thing that I love is that not only are they recycled but they say what they used to be which I think is a great way of getting kids talking about recycling.0 -
Some great ideas have already been said.
How about taking pictures of the children and the party and then printing them out and adding them to the bags.
Could add little craft kits, like card kits or cross stitch.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash
